**About the Role**:
We are currently searching for Litigation Counsel in ACAC with expertise in litigation matters and administrative and constitutional law to join the Uber ACAC Legal Team as we scale our business globally.
Our legal team is seeking top lawyers who provide litigation guidance and legal advice for Uber's business operations across all lines of business
**What You'll Do**:
- Collaborate closely with local teams on strategic litigation matters (constitutional, administrative and commercial), safety issues and consumer protection claims impacting the Uber entities/operations in the Country.
- Be an active and trusted business partner, and ensure the provision of timely business-focussed litigation advice to the business.
- Regularly collaborate with internal business partners as part of cross functional initiatives that improve the operations team.
- Work with multiple stakeholders across different business lines and cross functional teams.
- Research, review, and analyze legal risks for Uber and its subsidiaries according to the laws in each city where we have operations/ are available.
- Analyze, draft, review and revise documents, including various litigation related materials.
- Analyzing bills and/or changes in the law or regulations that may affect Uber's operations in the Country.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Law Degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience as a litigation lawyer with practice in a law firm or multinational company.
- Comfortable in working with shifting priorities, ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
- Self-starter and self-sufficient.
- Attention to detail, ability to multitask, handle cases, and carry out meaningful projects with limited oversight.
- Excellent business judgment, outstanding analytical and legal skills, mature judgment, innovative thinking and a desire to take the initiative and think two steps ahead.
- Ability to spot legal issues in new areas and good skills in legal drafting and negotiation.
- Ability to manage projects and stakeholders.
This position requires ability to influence others (e.g., change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others) in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
