Education/ Experience and Skill Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or similar career. Licentiate degree or MBA will be considered as a plus.
- 2 to 3 years' experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable or financial analysis.
- English, oral and written knowledge at fluid level is a must.
- Advanced level knowledge of Excel.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and adept to client needs.
- Great customer service orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and quick learner.
- Demonstrated history of following the stock markets.
- High commitment, proactiveness and team work orientation
**Responsibilities**:
- Deal funding activities: coordinating wiring instructions, tracking down and collecting reference numbers on the day of funding, sending out notices to all internal and external clients ahead of funding.
- Payment issues: Tracking down missing or incorrect interest payments from issuers, verifying calculations and amortization schedules, verifying floating rate coupons, working with external client custodians on accepting payments, following up on prepayments,
amendment fees, etc.
- Portfolio transfers: coordinating large-scale transfers of private placement Notes, reviewing transfer restrictions, minimum denominations, etc., coordinating delivery and drafting of bond powers and incumbency certificates; contacting issuers and transfer agents and
compiling ancillary documents; handling rejects from transfer agents.
- Secondary trades: completing rep letters, working with custodians, sending out bond powers/incumbency certificates and coordinating settlement
- Preparing annual margin regulation filings and responding to Federal Reserve inspections re: Regulation U filings
