**Job Description**:
The Cost Accountant will be responsible for transitioning RTR and costing activities from 3M's subsidiaries; and the end-to-end RTR process.
The scope may also include product costing (PCIV) activities:
- The end-to-end RTR process: journal entries, month-end close, account reconciliations
- Product costing (PCIV), including gross margin analysis
- Identifying process improvements
- Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
- Analyzing audits of costs and preparing reports
- Making estimates of new and proposed product costs
Main Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or currently studying accounting)
- A self-starter, with an excellent track record of delivering results
- A process improvement mindset
- Minimum of 2 solid years of Cost Accounting or General accounting
- Computer Literate - Strong Excel
- ERP system experience SAP and AS400 skills
- Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Intermediate to advanced English
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior shared service center experience with a large multi-national
- Lean Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodology certification
