Carry out professional tasks related to the field of Industrial Engineering, help link and support functional areas such as: Process, Production, IT Planning and Finance. The key process indicators for the position are efficiency, resource maximization and unit cost.
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Perform capacity analysis on production lines in order to identify operations: Bottleneck and changing variables in the process that affect output capacity.
- Analyze, manage and search for projects to improve the variables that affect capacity models such as:
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- UPH (Units Per Hour)
- Design and implement models that allow calculating the optimal Headcount for each production line based on projected demand.
- Control and update the flow charts of the different processes together with the participation of Process Engineering.
- Carry out method and movement studies in order to improve process flows.
- Carry out simulations on production lines in order to analyze the impact of new variables that affect capacity.
- Keep updated, manage changes and control the plant layout, as well as make projections of the future physical space required using Computer Aided Drawing based on the analysis of equipment requirements according to the projected demand.
- Incorporate the use of new tools such as: Data Science and Business Intelligence in order to manage large amounts of data to improve speed and efficiency in decision making.
- Perform analysis of Cycle Times and Utilization of production lines.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement groups (CITs).
- Propose and support improvement projects submitted by the CITs through the Lean Manufacturing philosophy, minimizing costs/waste/variability and maximizing the efficiency of available resources.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in industrial engineering.
- Knowledge of tools: Lean and Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of Windows and Office environment.
- Use of statistical software such as: Minitab, JMP, StatGraphics or R.
- Management of Process Simulation software such as: Arena or Flexsim.
- Use of Computer Aided Drawing software such as: AutoCAD.
- Use of Process Diagramming software such as: Visio or any other similar software.
- Knowledge of Database (SQL) and Programming (Phyton or some other).
- Knowledge of massive data management using tools such as: Power Bi/Tableau.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and ISO 50001 standards.
- Knowledge of technical English in reading and writing as well as an intermediate-advanced conversational level capable of communicating with similar professionals (Corporation counterparts).
- Analytical and reasoning skills that allow defining and analyzing problems related to the process, collecting data, establishing facts, carrying out analysis, establishing conclusions and externalizing valid solutions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive and dynamic person with excellent interpersonal skills in customer service, leadership and teamwork.

**Experience**:
- Minimum 4 years in verifiable similar positions working in a high-volume manufacturing environment with high-tech equipment.
**Naturaleza del puesto**:
Ejecutar labores profesionales relacionadas con el campo de la Ingeniería Industrial, ayudar a enlazar y dar soporte a las áreas funcionales como: Proceso, Producción, Planificación IT y Finanzas. Los indicadores de proceso clave para el puesto es la eficiencia, maximización de los recursos y el costo unitario.
- **Principales tareas y responsabilidades**:
- Realizar análisis de capacidad en las líneas de producción de manera de identificar las operaciones: Bottleneck (Cuellos de Botella) y las variables cambiantes en el proceso que afectan la capacidad de salida.
- Analizar, gestionar y buscar proyectos de mejora de las variables que afectan los modelos de capacidad tales como:
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- UPH (Unidades Por Hora)
- Diseñar e implementar modelos que permitan calcular el Headcount óptimo para cada línea de producción a partir de la demanda proyectada.
- Controlar y actualizar los diagramas de flujo de los diferentes procesos junto con la participación de Ingeniería de Proceso.
- Realizar estudios de métodos y movimientos con el fin de mejorar los flujos de los procesos.
- Realizar simulaciones en las líneas de producción con el fin de analizar el impacto de nuevas variables que afecten la capacidad.
- Mantener actualizado, gestionar cambios y controlar el Layout de la planta, así como realizar proyecciones del espacio físico futuro requerido utilizando Dibujo Asistido por Computadora tomando como base el análisis de los requerimientos de equipos según la demanda proyectada.
