Habitat for Humanity International is seeking to hire an experienced and professional
**Human Resource Manager - LAC**. Under the direction and supervision of the HRBP Regional Director leads the HR Resource Manager will be responsible for the implementation of HR and OD strategies, policies, and procedures, collaborate on workforce planning, recruitment and hiring, compensation and benefits, performance and development management, LOD, and the development of a productive organizational culture, as well as ensures the delivery of HR systems-wide services for all the AO's staff. The role also provides advice to National HR Coordinators, Sr. Managers and Managers of the AO, and to Directors as requested, on a range of personnel matters.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Alignment with the Global People Team's objective and initiatives**:

- Under direction and supervision of the HRBP Reg. Dir works closely with the HQ HR teams leaders as the HR AO representative on the follow-up and implementation of global objectives, projects, policies, initiatives, and systems.
- Carries out the recruitment processes of international and national hires, temporary staff, and consultants, according to HFHI procedures and policies.
- Responsible for preparing reports, analysis and information needed from the HQ HR teams within a consistent global and regional approach.
- Conduct HR audits at the National Organization level in coordination with the HQ internal audit team as needed.
- **Provide advice to HRBP LAC Director, Sr. Managers and Managers on HR needs**:

- Supports management by providing human resources advice and technical thinking, analyzing information, and making recommendations to solve staff related issues.
- Provides advice in the decision making about talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, health and well-being, training and careers development, employee relations, terminations, retentions, and any other HR related topic.
- Promotes good practices to ensure the compliance with legal requirements anticipating possible risk, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising the HRBP LAC on needed actions from the management team.
- **With the direction and supervision of the HRBP Reg. Director leads effective implementation and completion of all HR processes for the AO, to ensure the delivery of HR high quality, including**:

- Talent acquisition: Reduce time of hiring and orientation programs, owning the process fully for AO positions both local hires and global assignees.
- Performance management: Coordinates with the HQ HR team and aligns local supervisors to the requirements of the process and system and provides advice to local supervisors and staff during each stage of the process.
- Compensation and benefits: Provide salary market and salary ranges analysis to prepare offer letters and recommend equity adjustments, both global assignees and local hires of the AO in Costa Rica and in any other country in the region; responsible of the administrations of local hire and global assignees benefits and its processes, coordinates market salary survey when needed, according to the global job framework implemented, and work with the HRBP LAC on the merit increase process as required.
- Employee surveys: Provide support to HRBP LAC on preparation of reports and presentation of results to the management team, as well as proposed action plans to address findings of the results.
- MSWP: Lead the investigation processes of the region as required, in coordination with the GRC and international investigations team.
- Act as a liaison between HR department and the staff when more complex situations need to be address and there's a decision-making process needed from the management team.
- Responsible of the effective management of all HRIS that impacts all processes of the area, as well as provide guidance and advice to supervisors and staff on the used.
- **Support HR Capacity building initiatives for NOs**:

- Support the monitoring of the quality of the HR function at the National Organizations, and act as an advisor providing guidance and support to the HR departments in each office, ensuring alignment to the HR Regional Strategy and HFHI initiatives.
- Provide support to the development's initiatives within the region.
- Provide support to the implementation of the strategic framework and lead the operational and technical guidelines for HR.
- Assist the implementation of a culture within the regional HR teams to share and promotes best HR practices in alignment to HFHI procedures.
- **Promotes a culture in accordance with Habitat's values and objectives that enables employees to**:
