We are searching for the best talent for Hard Services Manager to be in Grecia, Alajuela.
Purpose: As a Hard Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, and caring for critical assets and systems and improving the utilities processes from a strategic point of view in the new MedTech Campus in Costa Rica (Epsilon Project), overseeing and optimizing resources and operations.
Responsible for ensuring best-in-class operations, compliance with local regulations and J&J policies and standards, maximizing operational efficiency, offering reliable utility systems, and fostering strong relationships with internal customers and stakeholders.
You will be responsible for : * Proactively assesses and analyzes facilities and maintenance technologies, processes, and systems as a continuous improvement process.
* It uses state-of-the-art technology to optimize the life cycle of critical systems and process excellence tools.
* Performs safety and environmental operations to meet site requirements.
Complete timely updates to the safety and environmental action plan.
* Leads the Critical Equipment Excellence Program.
Implement best practices, factor performance metrics, and lead staff to exceed world-class performance in managing critical assets.
* Leads the facilities excellence program concerning best practices, performance metrics, and personnel across soft services, hard services, utility management, and capital expenditures.
* Estimate design and operational costs / forecasting / business plan regarding utilities, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, setup, and other related cost.
* Analyze the cost-benefit to replace or maintain assets.
* Control the expenses of the facilities department for utilities and promote proposals that add value by optimizing existing resources.
* Solid interpretation of plans, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and civil and electrical plans.
* >8 years of experience in critical industrial services (chilled water, purified water, compressed air, HVAC system, transformers, electrical boards and panels, variable frequency drives, control and automation.
* College / University Degree in Electrical engineering / Electro - mechanical engineering or similar * 5 years of related experience in building management system and environmental management system * In-depth knowledge in engineering codes ANSI, NFPA, local codes.
* Project management skills, PMI or FPX Certification is a Plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong leadership skills driving operational excellence, promoting a culture of compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the team.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Certifications management, project management, or relevant technologies are a plus.
* English Language: min.
70% (written and oral) * MBA or master's degree management / projects.
