The Financial Planning and Analysis – Executive Decision Support Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for tracking expense changes between periods and coordinating across business and function teams to get a clear explanation on the inputs/drivers that may impact Citigroup total expenses. This role requires a consistent and deep understanding on expenses to properly compile, create, and share critical decks to the Senior Management.
Responsibilities:
1) Deep dive into the Direct Expense accounts and raise any possible concern to the teams seeking for explanations or non-identify variances.
2) Coordinate with multiple businesses the guidance, rules of the road and planification of forecast cycle processes.
3) Decks preparation consistently showing timelines and history of the expense walks between years within a clear explanation/description of the main events driven by the businesses on the changes when comparing between scenarios. 4) Execute Ad-hoc reports when requested within the given deadlines. 5)Cognos Support (Investments and Productivity system administration activities e.g. Data copy-overs, Calendar/Lock-Unlock of Window, Ad-hoc analysis, other)
Qualifications:
1) Between 0-2 years of relevant experience
2) Microsoft Office proficiency is a must
3) Self-driven skills to work along with the team and contribute individually
4) Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
5) Expense FP&A background is a plus
6) Time management is a must, ability to handle multiple request and excellent prioritization skills are desired
7) Cognos experience is a plus
8) Advanced English Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
