About the role:
DHL is hiring an Internal Control Analyst to join its Heredia, Costa Rica team. In this role, you will oversee that all SSC processes comply with the company Policies and Procedures. Additional tasks and accountabilities include but are not limited to:
**Main responsibilities**
- Participate as team member for assessment assignments, mainly in the areas of finance-related processes, accounting, taxes, controlling, OTC, as well as compliance controls.
- Perform the assessments following the methodology of Global CRISP requirements.
- Maintain a high quality standard for execution of testing and documentation, in line with global requirements.
- Discuss and present the issues detected during the testing to relevant management during the assessments.
- Execute special projects and process improvements as a result of assessments performed in the different areas of SSC.
- Prepares ad hoc reports.
- Give support an internal and external Audit Processes
- Keeps confidentiality of information, and be responsible of managing correctly confidential information, using proper labeling when necessary.
- Performs other duties and work on special projects as assigned.
- Work closely with the internal departments to provide overall assurance in control implementation, assessment and remediation plans
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of related work experience Quality Ensure or Audit.
- Advanced English Level (Written/oral) and Spanish Language domain essential
- PC skills should include the expert suite of MS products and Office tools.
