**Summary**:
As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will work with our Finance team, to track and manage financial data, as well as assist with creating and maintaining financial records, in but not limited to accounts payable.
You will need to have outstanding problem-solving and detailed abilities, an understanding of Excel/Google Sheets, and excellent English communication skills.
**What You Will Do**:
- Manage accounts payable using processing softwares and tools, such as DocLink for separate entities and vendors
- Ensuring bills are processed in a timely and accurate manner
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Analyzing monthly spend data for clients in different currencies from different vendors, such as Amazon, Facebook, etc
- Performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
- Become an expert in Kepler's accounting software
- Communicate with Kepler's Client Solutions team and different vendors to resolve billing issues
- Assist with completing monthly close
- Share best practices across teams
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
- Bookkeeping, accounts payable, & vendor bill processing
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
All majors accepted, preferably with a major or minor in a quantitative discipline (e.g.
mathematics, economics, engineering, statistics, physics, etc.).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices as well as general office practices and procedures
- Strong analytical skills, and comfort with MS Excel, data analysis and internet technologies with proven ability to think creatively about challenging analytic problems.
- Excellent bi-lingual communication between English and Spanish.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage complex workload and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills and ability to contribute to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and work as part of a team.
