Divisional Overview:
LSEG Pricing Service provides evaluated pricing daily for Fixed Income and Derivatives for over 2.8 million securities globally. Evaluated prices are used by asset managers, custodian banks, investment banks, and third-party vendors. Our mission is to provide accurate fair market value on all instruments held by our customers. LSEG Pricing Service has approximately 140 employees globally. Our teams are located in New York (including satellite offices around NYC), London, Paris, Tokyo, Singapore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Costa Rica, and Gdynia. Evaluations for international securities are performed by the evaluators in their local regions. Teams are divided by asset class in each region.

Team Overview:
The Bond Desk team within the Evaluated Pricing Operations (EPO) works in Fixed Income and Derivative Evaluation Support and Client Services. The Bond Desk Team Leader will have direct interaction with key customers and works as a point of contact with the evaluators in each asset class.

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the Bond Desk team in Costa Rica.
- Manage the full Bond Desk production workflow.
- Maintain customer cases up to date, coordinate interaction p with the evaluation team and facilitate customer escalation path as needed.
- Meet the target dates of the production schedule.
- Partner with client relations specialists to articulate voice of the customer in the organization.
- Research new issues to support pricing timeliness.
- Train new team members.
- Update customers on the status of their queries.
- Research terms and conditions of newly issued bonds.
- Handle pre-sales requests relating to the pricing of sovereign, corporate, asset-backed, and municipal fixed income securities.
- Manage query case of individual client price challenges and coverage requests.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree (completed or pursuing final year) in finance, economics, or business administration.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Customer service skills.
- The ability to work with large amounts of data in spreadsheets.
- Passion for capital markets and desire for learning.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
- Attention to detail, proactiveness, sense of urgency and understanding of bond markets are key for the role.
- Familiarity with case management software preferred.
- Programming skills (VBA, Python, SQL, etc.) preferred.
