The E-waste Commodities Trading Manager will be involved in sourcing suppliers, contract drafting, negotiation prices and terms and agreements, managing suppliers through the whole procurement process, developing supply base and supply chain strategies.
**Responsabilities**
- Research, select and purchase quality e-waste products and materials.
- Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
- Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
- Ensuring the products are delivered on time
- Search for new clients using public sector contracting platforms (Secop 1 & 2).
- Knowledge of auction processes.
- Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
- Compliance with purchasing management indicators.
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly management reports.
- Understand market trends within the non-ferrous metals and E-waste commodities markets.
- Assist in developing strategic plans for generating new sources and sales of e-waste materials.
- Responsible for the purchasing and selling of e-waste scrap metals for the best prices.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, International Business Management or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing and supplier management, preferably in e-waste, ferrous and non ferrous metal
- Familiar with mineral and metal extraction, production, refining, and recycling processes, including new, emerging technologies in hydrometallurgy, Experience developing and utilizing mineral and metallurgical process models of extraction, processing, and recycling.
- Has an excellent understanding of Circular Economy concepts and familiarity with common metrics used to discuss the Circular Economy.
- 5 years of experience in developing international regulatory plans and standards related to the field.
- Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the company.
- Budgetary planning and adherence experience; P&L management preferred.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Time management skills.
- Advanced English and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
