Job Description Experian is seeking a Data Analyst to play a key role in supporting Experian Housing and Verification business (EVH).
Housing is a rapidly growing business within Experian ecosystem and provides innovative solutions for all aspects of mortgage lifecycle including prospecting, loan origination, loan servicing, risk management, and capital markets.
The data analyst will support the team by providing in-depth analysis and insights related to Capital markets, such as monitoring market trends, evaluating economic indicators, and analyzing mortgage portfolios.
This position requires an understanding of mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and the broader mortgage market.
Additionally, the role involves understanding, maintaining, and enhancing complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and portfolio management.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting large datasets and translating them into actionable insights.
They will work closely with internal teams, including product management, risk management, and cross-functional analytics teams.
The analyst will also prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

You will give presentations on your analytic findings to all levels at Experian and to Experian clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Understand the analytic needs of the mortgage capital markets industry through interactions with internal product management and sales leaders, clients, and partners.
Support analytical projects from solution design and data integrity evaluation through solution development, documentation, implementation, and automation.
Develops dashboards and reports, leveraging data visualization and other tools Communicate with and deliver presentations to end users on analysis results.
Support the development of new analytical and data products and services, and the enhancement of current processes and offerings.
Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry developments that impact the mortgage market.
Evaluate new data sources identifying the most appropriate machine learning/deep learning/data mining/text mining techniques to uncover the value of the data Work interactively with a team of highly trained and skilled consultants, statisticians, analysts, and project managers.
Efficiently manage his/her own project queue and develop streamlined workflows with cross-functional teams.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Qualifications Advanced degree preferably in a related quantitative field (Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Economics). 5+ years of relevant working experience in analytics field preferably in financial services, capital markets, and/or mortgage industry Advanced experience with data querying languages (e.g.
SQL), scripting languages (e.g.
Python), and statistical/mathematical programming languages (e.g.
R, SAS). Experience in cloud-based development environment and automation tools such as AWS and Airflow Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Tableau (preferred) Preferred Experience – ML Ops background, end-to-end modeling platforms (like AWS Sagemaker, Google AI Platform, Azure ML, Machinify etc.)
