Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.Job Description:The person filling the Cybersecurity Operations Center Junior Analyst role will join 3M's Information Security, Risk and Compliance organization as part of a team focused on the ongoing development and operations of 3M's global Cybersecurity Operations Center.
You will help support day to day operations, monitoring and responding to security threats and risks, and providing incident evaluation & analysis.
This position will be operating in our Cybersecurity Operations Center; some weekend and after-hours work will be required.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Provide initial analysis, handling activities on Cybersecurity events and incidents.Support senior analysts on artifact collection and evidence gathering for incidents, from endpoint detection tools and SIEM.Investigate phishing cases reported by users and other ad-hoc requests.Conduct research on security threats based on created alerts.Basic Qualifications: An associate degree on computer science, or related field from a recognized college or university.2 years working on IT, preferably working with security technologies (such as firewall, EDR, DLP, identity).Fluent in speaking and writing English.Preferred Qualifications:Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or security related certifications (such as Security+, CSX, GISF).Experience working on a ticket-by-ticket basis (ITSM).Knowledge on Linux or Windows logging and security features.Understanding of Agile tools and processes.Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
