This individual will be directly involved with audits; day-to-day compliance issues; policies and procedures; generating monthly compliance metrics; and working with operations to ensure procedures are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.**Tasks & Accountabilities**- Support DHLE Denied/Restricted Parties Screening Program for assigned countries- Works with DHLE countries leadership to ensure compliant export processes- Generate regulatory compliance reports and metrics- Assist in the coordination and communication of compliance changes to impacted areas of the organization- Research and review Sanction Country shipments against DHLE policy and government regulations- Review and update, as necessary, internal policies and procedures pertaining to regulations and export clearance- Assist in identify areas of exposure to regulatory violations and track/follow up on corrective action recommendations- Provide support to commercial team to address customer concerns and respond to customer requests regarding regulatory or compliance concerns- Fluent English and Spanish language is a requirement.**Skills & Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree (business administration; law; regulatory affairs) preferable- 1 year experience in transportation or customs preferred- Basic understanding of export controls laws and regulations is required including knowledge of the ITAR, FTR, EAR and OFAC- Basic understanding of import and inbond transfer processes and regulations- Developed oral and written communication skills- Analytical thinking and problem solving- Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment- Organized and able to maintain a filing system- Excellent oral and written communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills; courteous and clear telephone voice- Fluent English and Spanish language are a requirement.Ability to work with limited supervisionWe offer:DPDHL offers excellent opportunities of professional growth, a multicultural environment, with attractive benefits package and competitive salary conditions.
