The Opportunity This position is responsible, under general direction, for the execution of Operational excellence initiatives aligned with business needs for capacity, cycle time, space usage improvements.What You'll Do • Execute method & time studies, capacity analysis and line balancing.• Calculate business unit direct labor needs to support year over year demands and to establish direct labor estandards in coordination with the finance and operations teams.• Provide support in the overall layout administration for specific product lines.• Provide support in layout changes that enable growth, space utilization and flow improvements.• Support tactical process improvement projects in the business unit, applying lean manufacturing and kaizen event principles.• May provide support to the implementation of 5s activities in manufacturing and or support areas.• Organize and plan the activities, able to keep track and provide progress status updates.• Support the introduction of new product lines by creating the capacity models and defining the correct distribution of work stations throughout the manufacturing area.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree.
/ Diploma, engineering or having successfully covered at least 60% of the curriculum at the University/College to obtain Engineering degree.0-3 years of working experience on similar roles.Computer software knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point).Basis English level / RequiredPreferred Qualifications• 1 year prior experience in medical devices manufacturing.• Knowledge of FDA, GMP and ISO guidelines.• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing techniques, value stream mapping, or similar.Shift Administrative: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.100% on site
