The position is responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading content for guest-facing sales materials and post-booking documents to support the Private Custom Travel team. This role requires a professional-level command of written English and experience writing B2C marketing copy for the US market, along with the ability to manage shifting priorities, multiple deadlines, and numerous stakeholders. This junior-level role has a degree of autonomy in writing but takes direction from the Marketing and Communications writing team as well as the Product Development department. The Travel Copywriter is a team player willing to jump in when needed and can think creatively to resolve issues and get things done.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - The following are the essential duties and responsibilities for this position. Other duties may be assigned as needed**:
Write compelling and accurate sales proposals and sample itineraries for custom luxury travel products.

Build, edit, and update content for guest-facing travel documents.

Transform detailed logístical information from global and internal partners into timely, informative, and actionable content for highly discerning guests.

Ensure all documents follow the company's distinctive brand voice tailored to the US luxury market.

Select images to accompany the text for visually pleasing, evocative sales proposals.

Proofread and formatted documents for accuracy, voice, style, and brand consistency.

Conduct research using the web or company databases to supplement itineraries and seek out information needed to complete projects.

Manage a high volume of document creation and revision in a timely manner to support sales goals and guest requests.

Work independently and collaboratively to create and execute guest-facing documents in a highly cross-functional environment.

Help build and maintain the company's digital itinerary library (AXUS).

Support special projects as they relate to the Private Custom Travel team.

**Qualifications**:
2+ years of previous copywriting experience, preferably in the travel industry.

Strong portfolio of past copywriting work.

Outstanding English writing and editing abilities.

Strong editing/proofreading skills and expert command of English grammar and syntax.

A keen eye for visual sales collateral and strong document-formatting skills.

Strong online research skills and a solid understanding of world geography.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to multi-task, surface and resolve overlapping priorities, communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and manage workload independently.

Tech savvy: Smartsheet, AXUS, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant software experience a plus.

Demonstrated ability to build successful working relationships with colleagues and work collaboratively.

Flexible and works well under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude.

Interest in luxury travel is a plus.
