The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a CIP Senior Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

- Leveraging problem-solving and critical thinking skills to ensure processes are well-defined and meet the intended objective.
- Performing data analytics to monitor and assess monthly rebate and assess monthly rebate accrual results for accuracy.
- Leading accrual meetings with all appropriate reports, slides, and notes, prepared for business questions.
- Suggesting areas of improvement for market development fund (MDF) and rebate issues and coordinating the implementation of those improvements.
- Reviewing MDF claims and ensuring financial accuracy and adherence to 3M Global Financial Standards.
- Potentially coordinating various activities relevant for processes, including responding to general business and process related questions or issues.
- Investigating, entering tickets, or conferring with analysts, by Sales District for General Ledger Reconciliation.
- Developing projects assigned by the Supervisor.
- Monitoring the Salesforce queue and conferring with analysts on change requests.
- Managing deadlines effectively to ensure metrics and business objectives are being accomplished.
- Continuous improvement of processes and Lean Six Sigma project participation.
- Participating in deployment of new systems including all necessary testing activities depending on process supported.
- Acting according to 3M regulations and policies, including the 3M Code of Conduct.
- Performing other tasks assigned by Supervisor.

Your Skills and Expertise
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy on data reports and processes.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks in a timely manner and to keep track of ongoing pending requests
- Flexible and detail oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Risk management analysis skills.
- Ability to work with diverse functional teams to evaluate and address key issues.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, and/or Finance discipline or two (2) combined years of experience in Finance, Business, and/or Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 especially in Excel and PowerPoint (For example: VLOOKUP)
- Must be fluent in English (C1+)

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP. Knowledge of Vistex is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build conditional formulas, VLookUps, pivot tables, create macros, and manage large data sets
- Experience with PowerBI and Macros.
