Here, you'll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.About the role:Purchases, plans, and schedules the movement of raw materials, packaging materials, parts, components, services, supplies, finished goods, and related material through production and inventory process. Identifies raw material, component, and related requirements from engineering and production specifications and schedules. In front-end procurement mode, analyzes data and determines factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Coordinates and follows up with production, warehouse, and engineering to ensure appropriate procurement, scheduling, and movement of materials and services. Compiles information to keep informed on price trends and manufacturing processes. May monitor performance of suppliers and collaborate on demand analysis planning.You're Responsibilities include:Buyer areaPerform all raw materials purchasing procedures.He/she will contact local and international providers for the supply of merchandise.Additional Responsibilities:Maintain good relations with providers of raw materials.Assess raw materials provider performance periodically.Evaluate and select the company´s raw material providers.Maintain the cost-quality relation, pursuing the maximum savings for the company.Satisfy established raw material inventory levels.Execute the complete raw material purchase cycle, from definition of the requirement to receiving the merchandise.Generate continuous improvement projects for processes related to raw material purchases.Planner areaConduct production planning to effectively comply with product requirements, maintaining a balance between the clients' requirements and the site´s efficiency and inventory level.Additional Responsibilities:Establish an actual, reachable, and acceptable Production Plan.Obtain an effective use of labor and equipment.Achieve timely communication with operative areas (Production, Purchasing, etc.) with direct influence on their functions, and with the entire organization in general.Follow up on the production plan through defining appropriate quantities, distribution, and times in order to achieve maximum operative efficiency.Perform the capacity requirement analysis, with a monthly frequency as minimum.Weekly and monthly reports on Production Plan´s control and monitoring.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Industrial EngineeringEnglish Level desired: B2+Experience: 3+ yearsOr an equivalent combination of education and experience.Desired knowledge: SAP, MRP understanding, Analytical thinking, Microsoft Excel, Materials Planning (not only requisitions processing)Requisition ID:579035As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most – united by a deep caring for human life.
