This role is part of the Finance Chief Operating Office (COO) under the Global Quality Assurance program. Quality Assurance (QA) is a key function that validates the accuracy of reported transactions, including data attribute values reported or that are used to support the reporting of underlying transactions, as well as a transaction's overall conformance to the reporting requirements. Finance Quality Assurance program is a global initiative across five different locations: New York, Tampa, Costa Rica, Manila and Mumbai.
The QA Business Process / Project & Automation Delivery Sr. Analyst position supports the execution of the Business Process Reviews and QA Technology & Automation book of work. Furthermore, the incumbent is accountable to monitor the timely execution of the QA Process Improvement and Technology project plans. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams.
In addition to an excellent project management, finance and transformation background, a proven record of delivering process improvement & technology implementation initiatives along with stakeholder management experience will be key to your success and growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs to meet QA organization objectives.
- Ensure creation of specific plans and charters, stakeholder interaction models, project governance, and central program issue log.
- Monitor, escalate and remediate any risk associated with handled projects and ensure that preventive actions are installed in order to decrease the probability of future recurrence.
- Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.
- Serve as liaison to business for work assignments by asking fact finding questions, following up on open items and helping with content approval.
- Accountable for the completion of key Business Process Improvement project delivery including activities such as process reviews, documentation, ongoing status submission, etc.
- Think Lean. Able to demonstrate and implement the key concepts of Lean in a service-oriented setting particularly presenting various opportunities to eliminate waste and streamline processes.
- Adopt industry best practices to projects and see how these best fit to the organization.
- Assists with business case, review business requirements, gap analysis, feasibility study in long term benefit, requirement, and solution review with stakeholders.
- Supports on the design of strategic business process modeling.
**Qualifications**
- 5-8 years of experience managing or participating in projects and teams within the finance and 2 years in a professional management role
- Proven track record in project managing complex projects within a wider program, with high levels of dependency and multiple, conflicting stakeholders.
- Can-do attitude and organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills which bring clarity and precision at senior executive levels
- Experienced in the creation of detailed end to end project and program plans. High level planning, organizing and documenting skills are essential
- Has multi-tasking ability, analytical and strong problem-solving skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Power Point creating senior management and/or executive level presentations.
- Advanced skills on collaboration tools: Microsoft SharePoint 365, Teams, One Drive, etc.
- Advanced skills on Microsoft Excel and Power Query building planning worksheets, data models, budget trackers, analytics, etc.
- Experience with Project Management tools such as Jira, Confluence PTS, Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Qualification and/or certification in project management & process improvement methodology (Ex. PMP, Lean or Six Sigma) is preferred
- Advanced English
**Education**
- Bachelor's/University degree in Business Management, Finance or Project Management and/or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Project, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Power BI, Project, Access), JIRA, PTS, etc.
- CitiLean/Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus
