Our fast growing team in Costa Rica are looking for an experienced Brazilian Payroll Supervisor for a SAAS based provider of global payroll. The position requires experience in Brazilian payroll including working knowledge of taxes, Union agreements and local taxation.
"Brazilian Payroll Supervisor, will ensure the accuracy of payroll and payroll-related information for internal & SSAE 16 audits, in addition to processing payrolls in accordance with all established statutory requirements and able to work collaboratively with CloudPay global payroll operations team."
This position is key to meeting the team's objectives and will be working closely with the manager to meet the operations SLAs
**The person in this position will supervise the Brazil team to ensure the accuracy of payroll and payroll-related information for our Brazil Customers and for internal & SSAE 16 audits, in addition to processing payrolls in accordance with all established statutory requirements and internal processes. Excellent customer service skills, the ability to resolve customer issues using effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task are essential.**
**Daily Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Supervise the Brazil team including one-on-one with direct reports
- Ensure with the team that all deadlines are met
- Manage and resolve customer inquiries and ensure timely responses
- Maintain updated documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures prior to processing
- Maintain payroll information, files, and records to provide up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance
- Process and review payrolls if required by the business
- Analyze payroll-related information to ensure accurate distribution of funds and payroll
- Partner with the Implementation Consultants to ensure successful knowledge transfers are completed between Implementations to Operations
- Main responsible for ensuring correct performance of in-house payroll system
- Actively participate in regional and global initiatives to ensure standardization across CloudPay
**Attributes and Experience Required**:
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Brazil payroll processing
- 1 - 3 years of experience supervising team members
- Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
- Experience with Brazil Payroll process engine Apdata is a plus
- Organizational skills to meet deadlines, assertive thinking, and decision-making
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Team player with the ability to share information and interact positively with others
- Knowledge of International business processes and cultures, and an ability to communicate internationally at all levels
