Will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire source-to-pay process, ensuring efficient and accurate procurement, invoicing, and payment activities.
This role will require a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and best practices in supply chain management.
Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive source-to-pay strategy aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
Process Optimization:Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve the source-to-pay process, reducing costs, enhancing efficiency, and minimizing risks.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of professionals responsible for procurement, invoicing, and payment activities.
Supplier Management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
Financial Controls: Implement and maintain robust financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Technology Implementation: Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the source-to-pay process.
Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and measure the performance of the source-to-pay function.
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with the source-to-pay process, including supplier performance, contract compliance, and fraud.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Relevant years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on procurement and accounts payable.
Proven track record of leading and managing teams.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, and supply chain management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Experience with procurement and e-procurement systems.
