The Application Engineer position is fast paced and detail oriented. The position is responsible for quotations, order entry, customer service, up-selling, assisting the customer in defining solutions that meet specifications/needs, managing the order process and coordinating information between the company and the customer for the full Electric & Pneumatic portfolio handled by the Crossridge facility.
**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:
- Prepare quotations in response to customer inquiries; in accordance with controlled prices, discounts, terms & conditions as well as sales policies & procedures.
- Take exception where Emerson cannot meet either the
- Review customer purchase orders (Electric Actuators only) for correct pricing, discounts, terms & conditions, part numbers and prepare for / complete associated order entry
- Respond to all customer requests for expedited emergency shipment of parts and service kits, documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, and Specification Sheets
- Document customer complaints and refer to Quality Assurance
- Assist other departments in resolving problems related to customer sales and service
- Provide timely and proactive customer communications
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders and maintain ownership and oversight of the orders until they are acknowledged and Submittal documents have been forwarded to the customer.
- May perform other duties as assigned

**For This Role, You Will Need**:
- BS degree, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering;
- Demonstrated, excellent oral and written communication skills
- English level B1 or above
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:
- Exposure or prior experience with Oracle is a plus
- A background with valves and actuation experience is highly desirable
