Application Engineer

**Job Title**: Application Engineer

**Job Status**:Full Time
**Reports to**:Principal Solution Architect or Senior Solution Architect

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Software Development: Collaborate closely with Solution Architects to translate design concepts into functional software.
- Issue Identification and Resolution: Proactively identify issues and bugs within the software. Formulate and implement complex solutions to address identified issues.
- Develop business domain knowledge via the project assignments (e.g. financial services, insurance, public domain) Contribute to continuous improvement by providing insights into potential enhancements.
- Testing Collaboration: Perform thorough unit testing to validate the functionality of developed software. Engage with quality assurance (QA) teams to facilitate integration testing.

**Requirements**:

- A passion for creating great solutions and an interest in technology
- A STEM background and/or an understanding of Comp Sci fundamentals
- Web development experience (HTML, Javascript, modern Javascript libraries)
- API development experience
