PURPOSE OF JOB Assist the Corporate Program Manager based in Ireland with a critical strategic expansion initiative, including managing specific aspects like Green field and Global Transfer projects.This role is ideal for engineers currently working in Operations or other Engineering divisions within the medical devices industry who are eager to transition into the realm of project management and expand their skills in this area.RESPONSIBILITIES Managing production and non-production related projects procurement activities and maintain the purchasing list, collaborate with cross functional team on gathering and process information, complete PO, quotes, ensure delivery on time, negotiate, and follow up with vendor to resolve issues.Maintain a tracker for all purchases, provide monthly CapEx spending summary and next month/quarter projections for month end financial review.Facilitate PM to update project documents.Transfer and update information between WBS, Gantt, and Project registers as per PM request.Responsible to support PM to follow up with local team to ensure high priority or urgent tasks will be executed on time.Gathering information based on project needs and complete initial review prior to deliver information to upper level.Organize meetings, takes meeting notes and synthesizes information, including preparation of minutes and transfer to project tracker.Documentation circulation for review and sign off via DocuSign.Make arrangements for Program leads travels and assists expense reimbursements Other functions might be assigned based on company's needs.REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.Bilingual: Spanish - English (B2 - C1 level minimum) EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years of experience as manufacturing engineer or quality engineer, preferably within a medical device manufacturing environment.Minimum 1-2 years of project management experience, required.Proficient in Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams. Experience in Ops lean project, process validation, or production transfer. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of MS Project.Experience managing a small project or work stream within a project.Familiar with project management concepts, PMP / Lean certified or on the route of obtaining certification.POSITION SKILLS: Proven ability on problem solving and capable of effectively managing deadlines.Enjoy teamwork and engagement cross functionally, while at the same time being able to work on their own initiative.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, work stream simultaneously and keep record organized.Excellent attention to detail.Fast adaptation to changing priorities and project deadlines Powered by JazzHR
