Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Management
- Manage Auxis internal outsourced functions at the Costa Rican service center.
- Prepare and present company financial performance data and annual budget to the Auxis Board of Directors and other parties, as required.
- Ensure company's internal service levels are measured and achieved consistently.
- Manage, mentor and recommend appropriate training for assigned professionals, including staff in Costa Rica.
- Maintain regular communication with Auxis management including informal discussions and
written communication to varying audiences
- Administration
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner.
- Ensure that customer invoices are issued timely and accurately, in accordance with established contractual provisions.
- Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.
- Process payroll and subcontractor payments in a timely manner.
- Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliations, as required.
- Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with various vendors and service providers, including banking, insurance, accounting and audit, systems and technology, legal, etc.
- Other Responsibilities
- Provide support to the treasury function, as required.
- Work with the Auxis VP of Operations to develop and manage ongoing revenue forecast reports by practice.
- Work with the Auxis VP of Operations to manage the contracts administration as required.
Execute on special projects, as requested by Auxis Executive Management.
Skills and Experience:
**General Requirements**:
- English - Spanish Language (Oral and writing 85 % or higher), (B2+ or above).
- The resource will adjust its schedule based on the account needs.
- Minimum of 6 years experience working in general accounting area, with experience in accounting operations in a multi-national Shared Services and/or BPO operation.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisor experience - This position must be very good at managing a team and have demonstrated success doing that.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience with Oracle or SAP, or other Tier 1 ERP systems.
- Must understand entire financial reporting process.
- Strong process focus and experience
- Strong financial systems understanding
**Additional Requirements (Nice to have)**:
- US Tourist Valid Visa for travel to US and other international locations as required (cross training, operations and/or project work).
- Master's degree required in business administration, Finance & Accounting or related field.
- Experience with US-based finance, accounting operations, US GAAP, and IFRS, with specific experience in Consumer Products, Wholesale or Retail Distribution businesses.
- Procomer knowledge.
