Part of Workforce solutions, the Support Services business is a major pilar of Lifecyle Services, focus on driving significant margin for PC business. The main responsibility of this worldwide team is to drive, animate the life cycle of the HP Personal System Services portfolio and enable new area of business growth., across the globe. This position is a Category manager for AMS region. This position requires working closely with the worldwide Services product teams and the countries.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive and execute the daily activities on Services portfolio management.
- Delivers training, awareness, excitement to the extended HP ecosystem.
- Ensure best in class portfolio setup in the HP front-end tools.
- Develop and update portfolio collaterals and assets.
- Setup and load regional pricing and costing at country level.
- Support the operational issues raised by the market category and Sales.
- Ensure optimal service execution for all Personal Systems introduction.
- Run some competitive analysis (products and pricing)
- Performs business analysis, identify portfolio simplification areas and develop recommendation.
- Prepare and drive successful monthly communication on Services current portfolio.
- Contribute to the development on new portfolio/service capabilities by working closely with the Senior product manager.
- Represents current portfolio in the various forums with the markets and the GBU
- Bring an external view, think out of the box spirit to this multi-cultural team - 12 people spread across the world.
**Education & Experience**:
- Bachelor's with a specialization in Marketing, Sales or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 2-3+ years of experience, either in Services or Personal System organization
**Knowledge & Skills**:
- Understanding of the services industry, offering categories and HP offerings/ strategy
- Appetite for product management (product marketing, marketing strategy, 4P).
- Marketing & communications skills, framework understanding
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to work in a virtual team, communicating with various teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail and quality of deliverables.
- Very good level of English, and optionally speak Spanish and/or Portuguese
