**Job Description**:
- We are recruiting for a Website Editor position to join our Global Digital Compliance team to build, update, launch and maintain our website compliance for the various websites we have across the globe.
- This role will require you to have the ability to learn the front-end editing of the website.
Website editors will work within Scrum agile frameworks alongside global, virtual, and multi-functional teams. Operational excellence, positivity and a spirit of continuous improvement are part of the culture of the team.
- Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Update the text and images in AT/CT (authoring/configuration templates)
- Adding new authoring templates from the front end
- Hiding/unhiding design patterns
- Linking and link updates
- Update the page configuration with Meta descriptions.
- Hide/unhide page titles.
- Edit existing content.
- Global side navigation, footer and SSN
- Run automated or manual quality tools and fix the compliance defects where possible. Escalate technical defects to relevant stakeholders.
- Perform testing following given test protocols before delivering the web content.
- Ensure all relevant development policies, standards and processes are followed end to end.
- Post-launch, work on website Maintenance requests and ensure tickets are completed within the SLAs.
- Participate in all relevant scrum agile event meetings, including Sprint planning, Sprint Review, Daily stand up, Sprint Retro meetings. Provide project updates and contribute to team solutions activities.
- Review and update documentation as needed.
- Complete all required compliance courses and mandatory training.
- Contribute to and accurately maintain project documentation, as necessary.
- Pro-active attitude to raise process / technical improvements that will support business and team satisfaction adding better productivity, improve time-to-web and add quality to the web experience.
- Perform root cause analysis if needed for defects and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders to mitigate recurrence.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-secondary (college, university) or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
- 2+ Years of relevant editing experience.
- Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written B2+
- 2+ years of experience working within a Scrum agile or similar framework, with ability to adapt to rapidly changing business demands.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of website compliance and accessibility
- Bilingual/trilingual (French/English/Spanish) an asset
- A fast learner, able to rapidly gain understanding of new or changing compliance policies.
- An eye for detail with a strong focus on delivering quality work.
- Ability to manage many concurrent activities and to self-organize and prioritize daily work.
- Experience working with digital content production would be valuable.
- Knowledge of enterprise-level Content Management Systems (CMS) would be an advantage.
