Responsible for maintaining the Quality Control, Programs at the site level in support of assigned aircraft and support equipment.
Inspect, remove, install, repair, replace, modify, disassemble, reassemble, and calibrate complex aircraft mechanical and electro-mechanical systems in accordance with maintenance manuals, test procedures and other military publications.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Perform the receiving, in-process, final quality, flight safety inspections and functional operational tests during organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance, modification and repair of military tactical aircraft systems or associated components.
- Accept or reject work accomplished to ensure compliance with customer specifications, standards, and technical data.
- Perform analysis of defects and interprets quality control rejection and failure trends in order to provide creative solutions for improvement.
- Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements.
Monitors training and certification requirements of the site Quality Control department.
- Perform Safety and Foreign Object Damage Inspections.
- Monitor tool control programs, inspects, and maintains records to ensure that measuring and test equipment meets calibration requirements.
- Reviews aircraft forms and records related IAW contract requirements.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws.
- Promotes a positive safety culture within the Quality Control department.

**EDUCATION**:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
Preferred:
- A.A./A.S or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- FAA Inspection Authorization.
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:
Required:
- Six (6) or more years experience in maintenance, modification, and repair of aircraft systems of the type being serviced and their associated components.
- Prior Quality Control experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Host nation language proficiency per contract requirement.
LATAM countries: Spanish Level 2 in both Listening and Reading (L2/R2).
Preferred:
- Previous Quality Control experience on rotary and fixed wing (UH-1)
- Experience in customer support.
- Technical writing and/or editing experience.
- Ability to maintain strong customer relationships.
- Knowledge of Army Regulations 95-1, DA / PAM 738-750 / 751, FM 3-04-500 (CH.8 QC) or Air Force Technical Orders System.
Familiar with CFR Part 43, 91, 121, 135, 145 Quality or Inspection experience (previous RII (Required Inspection Items) authorization.
