This is a remote position offering the flexibility to work from home.**Responsibilities**:- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished and engaging videos, ensuring high-quality production standards.- Collaborate with the content creation team to understand the vision and objectives of each video project.- Trim, crop, and enhance videos to optimize visual appeal and storytelling impact.- Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance visual elements and overall video production.- Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging.- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for video projects.- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and incorporate them into the workflow.- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver them within given deadlines.- Review and provide feedback on videos to ensure they meet the desired quality standards.- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand target audience and optimize videos accordingly.- Maintain organized files and backups of video projects to ensure efficient retrieval and version control.**Requirements**:- Proven 8+ years of work experience as a Video Editor, with a **portfolio showcasing your previous work**.- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.- Strong understanding of video editing techniques, including color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.- Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and exporting settings for different platforms.- Creative mindset with the ability to think visually and translate ideas into compelling video content.- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards throughout the editing process.- Excellent time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and incorporate feedback.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.- Should have high speed internet at home.**Experience**:- video editor: 8 years (required)
