We have an open position on the UCC engineering team for a Engineering Role.
Our team is globally distributed, with team members and work colleagues located globally.

THE UCC TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

- Unified Communications and Collaboration environments such as Zoom, Miro, Slack, Trello, MS Teams etc.
(windows and Mac) across the enterprise and on their usage within:

- Conference rooms
- Mobility for Unified Communications as a Service
- Video Streaming
- 500+ conference rooms globally dispersed
- Automation for above tools
- Bots, reporting, analytics, user onboarding, etc
- Atlassian products (Jira and Confluence)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ROLE WOULD INCLUDE:

- Minimum 5+ years in a engineering role
- Owning and driving all technical solutions related to the afore mentioned areas
- Contribute to the planning, assessments, and implementation of key digital projects within the collaboration platforms workplace
- Be a point of escalation for operations and other engineering team members
- Perform peer review of the work generated by other UCC engineering team members
- Collaborate with Information security to implement security architectures that protect data beyond the confine of company networks/boundaries
- Produce re-occurring environment analytics and usage presentations
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure is crucial.
- Strong organizational skills
- Have the ability to 'lead by example'.
- Manage and work to resolve escalated incidents
- Reduce and remove technical debt of all legacy environments (as needed)

May expect to have additional responsibilities:

- Regularly interact with vendors and understand product roadmaps.
Prepare Moody's for product changes through detailed planning and analysis processes.
- Regularly meet with internal partners and gather feedback / implement voice of customer updates to our tools

Key technical skills which applicants should have a strong demonstrable background in:

- Required to have Slack, Zoom and MS Teams expertise.
- Demonstrable course completion for Zoom Learning is preferred
- Experience with Teams/Zoom Phone or SaaS phone environments a plus
- MS Teams Admin certification a plus
- Prior experience in financial services is a plus
- Prior experience working with mergers and acquisitions pertaining to UCC solutions
- Experience using APIs and creating bots that generate value for technical and non-technical end users, including block kit.
- Experience with programming languages UNIX and PowerShell — In addition nice to have exposure to PHP, Python, or Java
- Identify bugs, test, reproduce, report, and work with the engineers on other teams to assist with a fix and test/verify fix versions
- Ability to write technical specifications for project
- Ability to specify exact make, model of conferencing equipment and diagram connectivity plans
- Implementation and back-end configuration for conference room and A/V technology
- Knowledge workflows for client-side provisioning processes - network requests, firewall requests, AD requests, etc.
- Experience using ITSM tools
- General knowledge regarding DNS, active directory, SCIM provisioning, authentication protocols, SAML response, etc.
- Understanding of SIP, VoIP, MPLS, AVoIP, and other similar network technology protocols
- Understanding of SSO (OKTA) and VPN split tunneling
- Showcasing the attitude of continuous improvement within UCC services.
WORKWEEK & HOURS:
40 hours - Mon - Fri. Must be flexible to work additional hours including weekends as required to meet project deadlines.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as required by the immediate manager/supervisor.
