Lead all operational aspects of the company's global travel program, including interaction with travellers and travel arrangers, selecting and running supplier relationships and coordinating the Travel Management Company to drive efficiencies, ensure high quality service, run costs and implement standard methodologies.Leverage industry knowledge and negotiation skills to optimally conduct travel vendor RFPs with the goal to maintain a cost efficient and traveller centric program. Use global travel data for effective negotiations, expense management and cost savings. Negotiate and monitor global travel agreements (agency, airline, hotel, ground transportation and technology) in order to achieve maximum savings and optimize service.Maintain a strong working relationship with all internal customers. Set up a feedback and service program for travellers and travel bookers for questions, comments, and problem resolution. Serve as a partner concern point when needed to address supplier issues and assist with trip disruptions.Maintain and update the global travel program so that it stays current, incorporates industry standard processes and meets traveller needs. Review all key elements of the program at least annually with suppliers and internal partners to identify necessary changes and updates.Participate in industry events a joins industry associations to evaluate the travel marketplace and benchmark company programs against peers and emerging processes and technology.Forge a close working relationship with all vendors to become a customer of choice. Supervising contract performance and ensuring a favorable position for renewal discussion.Develop, implement and distribute regular reporting and commentary to leadership and internal partners highlighting activity and spending trends, identifying potential policy changes and sharing opportunities to drive behavior changes to improve experience, program efficiency and savings.Develop communication channels and materials to educate colleagues about internal policies and procedures, travel industry news and preferred vendor relationships. Participate in Admin Meetings and Traveller Forums to gather feedback and understand changes in company travel patterns and needs.Work with the corporate credit card program administrator to ensure that travel payment tools and processes are optimized to maintain strong financial controls and a user friendly booking experience for team members.Work closely with T&E Accounting, Procurement & Sourcing, and IT in establishing policy, procedures and effective technology tools.Ensure compliance with company policies- 7-10 years validated experience in leading and advising travel operations for large multinational corporations, preferably in a fast paced industry (banking or consulting industry) taking care of a wide range of individuals and departments- This role is responsible for working as part of the Customer Success Management team for Orbis solutions, supporting Relationship Managers and internal partners to drive the client journey using a narrow set of products or services. Key activities include improving user proficiency via product demos and training, case management and acting as a client advocate to improve the customer experience. Additionally, the role requires the assessment of client needs and providing clients with specific mentorship and product overviews.- In-depth knowledge of travel vendor negotiating and contracting (Airline, Hotels, Ground Transportation, Trains and TMC)- MS Office knowledge with advanced knowledge of Excel and basic knowledge of Power BI- Familiarity with travel industry tools such as booking tools (Egencia/ Concur/ Get There) and GDSs (Sabre/ Travel port etc)- Familiarity with design and standard methodologies in data visualization, infographics, and data reporting- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal savvy and strong negotiation skills- Analytical skills- Project Management Experience- Cultural sensitivity and familiarity with working practices in different parts of the globe- Strong time management and administrative skills- Experience working for a TMC, Airline or Hotel in operations or sales is an advantage- Problem-solving skills- Organizational skills- Foreign language is a plusTravel Senior ManagerMoody's is an equal opportunity employer.
