The Transceiver Subsystem and Protocol Architect will be responsible for architecting Transceiver integration and protocol support for Intel FPGA and will provide technical leadership to the rest of the team in these domains.
The role covers specification generation, specification negotiation and definition of the Transceiver and Protocol stacks for PCIE, CXL, Ethernet as well as other protocols.
The architect will be responsible for working with the SOC architects to define the global clocking definitions and reset schemes.
The architect will require a broad knowledge in Transceivers and multiple protocols, understand packaging and SI/PI issues in IP integration.
Protocol IP design knowledge, and the ability to comprehend global data movements in the context of an FPGA is a plus.
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of experience
8+ years of experience in SoC design and architecture
5+ years of experience in Transceivers and protocol stacks.
e.g.
PCIE, CXL, Ethernet, Interlaken, etc
5+ years of experience in architecting complex transceiver subsystem with protocol stacks systems and demonstrating success in deploying those systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of FPGA is a plus.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
