**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**
This role is part of DBS - GBS Finance.
**Reports to**:Transactional Finance Manager
**Reporting Level**:Mid-Senior Level Manager
**Geographic Scope**:Americas
**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Lead the team through the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end process, meeting all deadlines.
- Ensure high-level analysis of numbers, handle meetings with key stakeholders and identify additional actions whenever necessary.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on a timely basis in line with internal SLA's by supporting the team and providing mentorship.
- Actively build and develop good working relationships with key partners in the end market.
- Build a driven environment to develop innovative ways of process improvements and enable others to perform at the best of their capabilities.
- Identify the gaps in efficiency and effectiveness and recommend the actions.
- Act as key liaison between PTP, OTC and P&R to ensure accuracy in local financial statements. Point of contact within transactional finance teams.
- Review monthly local balance sheet/P&L/Financial Package.
- Ensure compliance with all quality and control requirements, support the internal and external audit processes Business / Operational Results.
- Deliver processes as per SLAs agreed timings.
- Participate and lead projects or any ad hoc requirements and support your team when needed.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of related experience to the role, with experience managing accounting teams
- Proficient English level, verbal, and writing (B2+).
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel & Outlook).
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRs).
- Knowledge in transactional platforms (ERP, SAP).
- Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with partners and team members.
- Excellent stakeholder management and an agile mentality.
- Self-motivated individual, working at high professional standards, with a strong focus on results.
