**Principal Responsibilities**
- Responsible for overseeing the management of all employee benefit plans.
This includes plan changes, new employee enrollments, annual enrollments, contract establishment and renewals, cost analysis, employee communications, resolving employee benefit and compensation issues, calculating monthly premiums, and processing benefits for terminated employees.
The various plans include, but are not limited to, Group Medical Insurance, Prescription Drug Plan, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, HSA accounts, employee basic and optional life insurance, spouse and dependent life insurance, personal accident insurance, business travel insurance, short term disability, long term disability, employee assistance program, Retirement Savings Plan, and educational assistance.
- Leads global initiative to ensure all MicroPort locations are consistent in their administration of company job grades, job levels, pay structures, etc.
- Work closely with representatives of our benefits consultant for the benefit and retirement plans in the areas of benefit plans, changes, governance, administration, and cost.
It also interfaces with other external vendors to resolve employee benefits issues.
- Conduct weekly/monthly/quarterly audits for ongoing benefits administration.
- Responsible for administrating the annual merit process, bonus payment, and sales incentive programs.
Works closely with Finance to forecast and model data, provide budget recommendations, and drive communication with company leaders.
- Monitors the effectiveness of existing benefits and compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures, recommending plan revision as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with benefits and compensation trends and corporate objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to staff.
- Supervises the participation in, conducts, and/or purchases exempt and non-exempt salary surveys or subscription services and systems to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
- Keeps appraised on federal, state, and local benefits and compensation laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.

**Skills Requirements**
- Knowledge and proficiency with personal computers and related software are required.
- This position requires advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- A minimum of five years managing a combination of payroll, compensation, and benefits.
- Experience working in UKG/UltiPro software is strongly preferred.
- General knowledge and experience in all facets of HR to assist with the daily operations of the HR department are preferred.
- The individual must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, a professional work ethic, and be detail-oriented with a high aptitude for accuracy.
- Ability to interpret data, guide compensation decisions, and build compensation models.
**Experience Requirements**

Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in benefits and compensation; minimum 7-year experience required in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
**Education Requirements**
