The Functional Test Writer Product Development Engineer is responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage to production ramp.
The Test Writing Product Development Engineer:
- Makes significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits.
- Evaluates, develops and debugs complex test methods and complex software programs to convert design validation vectors.
- Drives complex test equipment.
- Tests, validates and modifies circuits to guarantee product specifications.
- Compares component specifications with actual performance to ensure quality.
- Analyzes early customer returns and drives test hole resolution activities.
- Creates and applies concepts for optimizing production relating to quality, cost and yield.
- Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
**Qualifications**:** Minimum Qualifications,**
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- At least 90 percent of courses approved form a bachelor's degree in electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related area.
- Intermediate to advanced English Level.
**Preferred Qualifications,**
- Major in Digital Circuits or Computer Architecture.
- Assembly programming skills (preferably on 8086).
- Experience using Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL.
- System architecture concepts, programming languages such as Perl, Python, C, C#, etc; tools like GIT Repositories.
- Microprocessor test and/or pre-silicon verification experience.
- Scripting and debug experience.
- 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or Product Development.
- Experience in test content generation, simulation and emulation for silicon characterization in Microprocessors.
- Microprocessors Hardware architecture, logic/Circuit design and implementation.
