FusionHit is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to work with our client, a leader in the insurance and marketing solutions industry.
This role involves collaborating closely with a Senior Project Manager, assisting in the successful delivery of software projects.
The Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that projects meet the client's objectives and run smoothly.
Candidates must be available to work during Pacific Time business hours . Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements. Work closely with stakeholders to understand project goals, translating them into detailed project documentation and user stories. Support project teams throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , ensuring that deliverables meet business needs and objectives. Facilitate communication between business users, project managers, and developers to clarify requirements and address any project issues. Help define and monitor key project metrics and KPIs in collaboration with the Project Manager. Participate in solution design sessions to ensure that business needs are effectively translated into actionable technology solutions. Conduct data analysis to provide insights and recommendations to improve project outcomes. Assist in testing processes by validating that software solutions meet business requirements and identifying any discrepancies. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements in processes or technologies. The Ideal Candidate Has: 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst , ideally working in software and technology projects. Familiarity with the Insurance industry or Digital marketing is preferred, but not required. Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working on projects from initiation to delivery. Experience working with both Agile and traditional project management methodologies, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to different project needs. Proven ability to create clear and detailed documentation such as business requirements, user stories, and process flows. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with stakeholders and technical teams. Experience with Jira, Confluence , and other project management tools. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations. Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work during Pacific Time business hours (typically 9 AM to 6 PM PT). Ability to work remotely and collaborate with teams across multiple time zones (US-based and offshore teams). Nice to Have: Basic knowledge of insurance products and processes.
