**Job Summary**
As a **_Tech Lead QA (Functional & Automation)_**_(8_**_920)_**, you will be part of a highly skilled technology and agile team by supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help us accelerate our customers' business results by innovating cutting-edge digital products.
Your responsibilities will include leading and actively participating in the design, development, and delivery of our software projects.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Create test plans and related infrastructure to validate features and fixes to the cloud platform; and triage issues found using your Linux, networking, Python, and other skills
- Review, analyze, and supplement requirement specifications, and ensure maximum test coverage
- Automate test plans using pytest to augment the automated test coverage
- Investigate automated test execution failures to identify adjustments necessary to the setup or to report bugs found
- Work as part of a team focused on containerization, virtualization, VM management and fault tolerant/carrier grade development
- Contribute to a highly available, carrier grade private cloud platform aimed to be at the core of 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Graduates in systems, networks or related fields with +6 years of experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and attention to details;
- Highly versatile professional, able to navigate a wide range of contexts and potentially technologies;
- Linux familiarity, knows how to use a terminal, understands the OS structure (file system, process, memory, etc.) and how to navigate through some other Linux aspects as an advanced user;
- Experience creating, maintaining and executing test cases for backend systems in at least one of these contexts: integration/system, feature, and performance (e.g. load, soak, spike, etc.) tests
- Experience automating integration/features/system tests for backend systems (preferably using pytest)
- Exceptional team player who works well in collaborative environments;
- Self-managed, fast learner with the desire and ability to master new technologies.
- Able to communicate in English at a minimum according to the parameters of level B2 for understanding, speaking, and writing of the CEFR matrix
