YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify process improvement needs and align with CoE / GPO organization.
Manage and support continuous process improvements (cross-functional alignments, automation & data analytics), prepare, and conduct respective trainings.
Support tax teams for technical and/or process related questions.
Participation and leading role in cross department assignments within GBS for process related topics.
Distribute and coordinate tax requirements with other process areas.
GPO project support (e.g., transitions, global standardization, ERP implementations).
Monitor key process metrics that measure performance, Service Level Agreement (SLA) and benchmarks targets across GBS locations.
Use and train data analytics based on state-of-the-art technologies to analyze financial data to ensure data and tax compliance quality.
Manage knowledge by guiding, documenting, and training Bayer´s process, activity split, IT enabler, workflow, and control standards across GBS locations to ensure that all locations act consistently.
Manage tax tools and support demands used to maintain or modify systems capability to support legal or business-related changes to current process under scope.
WHO YOU ARE
B/BS/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Law and/or Tax ideally combined with IT knowledge (or similar).
At least 5 to 6 years of work experience preferably in tax covering tax compliance / tax accounting for USA tax jurisdictions, foundational level of process and system knowledge in increasing automated digital world and complex system landscape.
Advanced English level both written and spoken.
Preferred professional experience on multinational companies and big four firms.
Experience in leading technical projects (processes, organization, and people).
Advanced level of technical accounting and financial reporting in a corporate environment.
