**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**
- Tasks processed within SLA agreed with end markets.
- Important metrics are met, and differences are managed optimally.
- Issues are raised following the corresponding process.
- Processes enforce RACM and Internal Controls.
- Achieved a high degree of customer satisfaction at year-end.
- Continuous Improvement initiatives and quantify benefits once implemented.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Request via Workflow - PO' reviews and validations, additionally, review and validation CNPJ, quantity, value, plant (business place), and taxes fields.
- PO ´s control with Automatic Liquidation and CIAP (Fixed Asset PO´s).
- Support, and supervise the update of SAP approvers (Release Strategy) and indicators through daily and monthly Dashboards (Efficiency and Calculation PIS / COFINS).
As well as perform and support implementations in SAP (Complete testing).
- Prepare recurrent and ad-hoc reports according to EM agreed schedule and prepare reports/critical metrics related to tax management.
- Ensure compliance with the guidelines established in BAT Brazil's hiring policy and monitoring of tax legislation with autonomy to contribute to discussions of tax issues, including supervising the tax calendar regarding the payment term.
- Build requests for Down payments/Recurring CAPEX and payment management of non-residential property rental agreements (recurring payments).
Additionally, prepare and post journals ensuring that business rules are aligned with the requirements.
- Custody of evidence to meet the requirements of Sox.
**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- At least 1 year of experience in R2R processes as a Tax or General Ledger.
- Medium/ Sophisticated knowledge of transactional platforms (ERP, SAP).
- MS Office - Medium/Sophisticated level.
- Connect with peers, managers, and team members effectively.
- Analysis provided with accuracy and insights.
- Portuguese (speak and write fluently).
- English - at least B2.
- Technical Degree in accounting or finance background or business administration, law, or economics.
**BENEFICIAL**
- Brazil tax expertise desirable.
- Knowledge of tax compliance.
- Experience in ICMS, IPI, II, PIS, COFINS, ISS.
