These activities include but are not limited to overall tax and accounting activities related to tax compliance.
- General Responsibilities
- Prepare the determination of the quarterly income tax provision.
- Quarterly account reconciliations in Blackline
- Preparation of monthly reports such as the balance sheet review aging and quarterly reports such as the balance sheet review.
- Strong knowledge of direct tax calculation and preparation of monthly working papers (withholdings, self-withholdings) for different Latin American countries.
- Coordinate with the Latin American markets to update supplier tax codes.
- Perform reconciliations of tax accounts every month and follow up on open items.
- Experience in the identification and analysis of accounting problems and related implications.
- Prepare tax journal entries and record them in SAP.
- Collect, organize and use data from the accounting books for the tax accounting process and the information needs for income tax compliance prepared by local external advisors.
- Initiate payment requests for various tax payments due to the tax authorities.
- Prepare internal monthly and quarterly tax reports for the corporate.
- Assist in the preparation of tax account requirements for external financial audits.
- Attend government audits and provide the required information with local advisors.
- Provide tax technical assistance to the countries covered by the direct tax team in conjunction with local advisors.
- Qualifications (Training, Education & Prior Experience):
- Education_
- Undergraduate degree in accounting
- Requires min 4 years of experience accounting
- Job Experience_
- At least 2 years of experience in Direct tax compliances processes including account reconciliation process.
- Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with many levels of personnel and establish professional relationships.
- Experience working internal and external clients.
- Knowledge, insight, and experience in Latam markets.
- Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
- Previous business center experience.
