The Equipment Sourcing & Procurement (ESP) APT in Supply Chain IT is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst. As a Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through Cypress automated testing, providing production support, conducting manual regression testing, and collaborating with business stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide in-depth Cypress automated testing experience:
- Utilize your expertise in Cypress automated testing to train and guide the ESP APT on best practices for writing and maintaining tests.
- Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and enhance automated test scripts using Cypress.
2. Level 1 Production Support:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose production issues, working closely with the development team to identify root causes, implement appropriate fixes, and update documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement preventive measures to minimize future production incidents.
3. Manual Regression Testing:
- Document and report Jira bugs and issues found during testing, providing clear and concise feedback to the development team.
- Collaborate with the development team to improve regression testing strategies and implement efficient testing methodologies.
4. Collaboration with Business Stakeholders:
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into training materials, documentation and provide demos of functionality.
- Update and maintain documentation, including user manuals, process guides, and training materials, reflecting the latest system functionalities and changes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in Cypress automated testing, including designing and maintaining test scripts.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Solid experience in production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in manual regression testing techniques and tools.
- Excellent communication (verbal & in documentation) and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address complex system issues.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
