The System Quality and Reliability team owns the development and execution of system stress test experiments required for product release to market and for post launch support activities to meet the Quality and Reliability goals across multiple market segments.
This position will be part of the System Customer and Content team that supports product pre and post launch activities such as microprocessor and test content debug and validation.
**The role will be responsible for**:
- Validating and debugging microprocessor failures in a platform environment.
- Analyzing and isolating microprocessor failures.
- Reporting validation results to cross functional teams.
- Creating and modifying test content to expand upon feature and component coverage of Intel products.
- Analyzing and tuning of workloads to characterize their effectiveness within system level stress experiments.
- Analyzing large sets of data related to platform testing results.
- Automate test solutions and process.
- Debug computer software that prevent correct operation of a system.
**Qualifications**
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience Programming in one or more high-level languages (Python, Perl, C#, Java).
- Experience working with various Operating Systems used in platform validation including Windows and Linux.
- Strong understanding of microprocessor architecture.
- Advanced English level.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Knowledge in version control systems (Git, Gitlab, Github).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, firmware, and software components.
- Experience in platform, system-level or computer testing tools.
- Experience running and analyzing results from commercial benchmarks.
