The SVS Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring completion of projects according to scope, plan, budget, and relevant instructions within the following categories:
Material and design change on existing products
Optimization or troubleshooting of production related initiatives or critical production errors and high complaint levels resulting from raw materials
Cost reduction projects due to financial reasons or to mitigate risk at current supplier second source projects
Local related projects requested by Management
Manage projects with a global mind-set and with holistic thinking - respect to the cultural differences and local production set up. SVS Project Engineer shall take part in the global SVS Project Management organization setup and represent SVS Project Management in the Quality Department.
**Principale Responsibilities**:
Coordinate and manage local projects
Analyse, scope and mobilized projects within Global Quality
Ensures successful completion of project within scope, schedule, and budget
Ensures project documentation meets regulatory requirements and Coloplast guidelines.
Ensures project status and relevant decision within the project are communicated to all team members and stakeholders
Coordinate project team deliverables during the project
Ensures flow and momentum in projects, which optimizes value for the business
Responsible for reporting status, KPIs, risks and issues to Head of SVS Project Management and Steering Committee
Have focus on material shortage during the entire project lifetime
Contribute to general competence development and knowledge sharing in the department
Participate in development and maintenance of procedures and instructions relevant to SVS Project Management
Achieve the indicators set by the management
Follow safety, fire protection, rules concerning production in cleanroom and other company regulations
Take responsibility for those safety aspects identified for the given position
Performe their job in compliance with the guidelines given
Drawing attention to the manager to any difficulties in understanding or following the guidelines
Drawing attention to inefficiency of the system
Any other dutie as assigned per role and business needs.
**Essential Qualifications**:
Bachelor´s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or in a related field
Fluent English skills (both verbal and written)
Able to travel approximately 20-25 days yearly
Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point
Knowledge of MS Project or other tools necessary for Project Management
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Previous experience in medical devices company.
