The GRR Data transformation team is responsible for the timely and adequate implementation and adoption of enhancements to Citi's Data Operating Model (DOM) in relation to data consumed by the Global Regulatory Reporting. The team is responsible for understanding the concerns of the stakeholders within the Controllers organization relative to data quality and availability to assess required solutions to address those issues ensuring to coordinate closely with both internal and external stakeholders. The team is engaged in efforts to remediate the issues and adopt the changes through engagement with resolution teams. The team is also responsible for defining and monitoring data quality rules to ensure that the critical data elements are under governance with the final goal to improve the quality of the information within the regulatory reports. The focus will be to satisfy the data needs of the GRR organization with data that is high quality and fit for purpose. The GRR Data transformation team will execute activities in support of Finance Transformation Plan sections for data management and remediation to support data consumption, adjustment reduction and other remediation efforts.
This position will be responsible for the certification and sustainability of the process in place by data owners to monitor the quality of the CDEs in production.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead the definition and implementation of demonstrable data controls covering different dimensions to ensure that the data used by Data Consumers is accurate, consistent, and complete.
- Certify data to ensure safe, accurate and controlled sourcing, transport, access, and storage of data at the consumption layer.
- Perform preliminary assessment of the ADS DQ dashboards and artifacts prior to reviewing the attestation process.
- Confirm and oversee the process in place to continuously monitor the quality of the CDEs.
- Review of the Data and Source Certification questionnaire provided by the Data Owners.
- Check end point reports and verify and validate scorecards, warnings, alerts and action items.
- Monitor actionable alerts and assess potential impact on GRR Reports.
- Identify potential exceptions and validate data concerns in line with issue management process.
- Assess sustainability of technical enhancements ex-post release
- Support the data requirements identification and collection process to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency of the data quality rules captured during the implementation phase.
- Review the testing criteria and results provided by Data Providers, GFT and Data Owners to ensure results are aligned with expectations.
- Contribute to the enhancement of business rules and DQ thresholds to ensure data/CDEs are fit for purpose.
- Profile data sets and define completeness, consistency, validity, comprehensiveness and timeliness controls across reports (regulatory & management)
- Create technical requirements to implement controls at consumption layer with Data Consumers.
- Review data quality requirements and verify controls are in accordance with the CDGP (Citi Data Governance Policy)
- Support the implementation of data management initiatives across Citi to ensure the needs of Controllers are met and that the data is fit for purpose.
- Participate in the design and implementation of strategic solutions to enhance the data delivery and provisioning platforms for Controllers
- Facilitate the transition of data consumption from existing models to the enhanced data management framework, including defining consumption points, trusted sources, and technology enablers
- Monitor and assess resolution of top data priority issues with impact on Data Consumers.
- Participate in the development of data quality metrics, including dashboards, KPIs, and other measurements of success
- Facilitate or contribute to status meetings (recurring and ad-hoc) with required stakeholder communities (including senior management) by preparing materials and updates, summarizing issues and risks, defining agreed action items and next steps
- Create project artifacts including, but not limited to: business and functional requirements, user acceptance test plans, and operational readiness documents
- Other specific responsibilities as related to the supported function, including requirements gathering, issue root cause remediation, data lineage documentation, control design, process governance etc.
- Support Functional teams during the testing, validation and sign-off process on data improvements that utilize the standard GFT release and change management.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and a minimum of 7+ years of hands-on, mixed experience in managing Data quality initiatives and operations, Data analysis and BI technologies.
- Proven experience of leading and working on data profiling, data quality, root cause analysis, data certification.
- Experience in database structur
