MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
Summarize the main purpose of the role. Responsible to deliver the business results and expectations on a day to day basis. The operational areas within the Supply Chain organization are Material Handling, Warehouse, Logistics, and Shared Service areas and this position lead one or more of these areas. Supervises the operations and staff on the different Supply Chain areas as well as facilitates/coaches improvement projects. Responsible for ensuring that Quality, Safety, Financial, and key operational metrics are met
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Capable to Create/Revise overall plant Supervisory responsibilities for the operational teams including personnel scheduling, evaluating discipline, coaching, selection, and training of staff by maintaining a constant presence in the area.
- Develop activities and reports to ensure expected service level and KPI's; inventory accuracy throughout the facility, Optimal freight spend and overall efficient utilization of resources (Warehouse, Material handling, Inventory Control, or Shared services areas) Develop activities and reports to ensure expected service level and KPI's; inventory accuracy throughout the facility, Optimal freight spend and overall efficient utilization of resources (warehouse, Material Handling, Inventory control or shared services areas).
- Continuously improve the team execution and performance in concert with cross-functional peers in Value Streams and Supply Chain.
- Responsible to meet all Quality, and Legal, and Governmental regulations applicable to the Supply Chain functions.
- Responsible to develop and implement mid and long term capacity, space, layout, and staffing plans.
- Recommends operational policies and goals to company management.
- Is expected to this role the development and coaching of the team members. The role is expected to work independently, with some support from department management supervision.
- Standardize practices and improve efficiencies. Drive, facilitate, coach, and implement distribution processes and projects improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree. Business Administrator, Engineering, Logistics, Intl Trade, Social Sciences, Economic sciences, or related studies are required.
- 6+ years prior experience in a logistics, inventory control, distribution or warehouse environment, or related areas required
- Advance computer skills in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated proficiency on inventory management systems used to collect data and control/monitor inventory levels; for example SAP, Kronos, or similar.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO and quality systems as FDA, MDD.
- Flexibility to work on different shifts schedule is preferred.
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively lead/influence peers and other functions towards organizational goals.
- Shift B. Monday and Friday 3:30pm to 10:00pm and Saturday 8:00am a 3:30pm
