Supply Chain Specialist

The Opportunity This position works out of our Costa Rica – Alajuela location in the Structural Heart Division.Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.As the Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible in supporting engineering related issues with purchased components, new product development, logistics and planning improvements processes.What You'll Do Assist and support Cross-Functional teams for concurrent engineering activities.Assist on product transfers and New Product Introductions.Supports continuous improvement projects for purchased components.Assist on Supply Chain related projects and deployments.Support Buy/Make decisions.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree Science, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or other related areas.3+ years of experience Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Process Development Engineering.Knowledge in the following software: Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SAP.Ability to travel approximately up to 10%.Shift Adm.Preferred QualificationsHighly preferred experience creating justifications for capital equipment.Supplier relations and medical device experience.Leading projects related with Supply Chain topicsKnowledge of FDA, GMP and ISO guidelines.
