This position is for FP&A COE Kidney Care Consolidation team for Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), maintaining significant interaction with senior leadership. The role provides direct support to Plant Controllers. This role plays an instrumental part in steering Baxter's financial direction.
The role is expected to manage the planning and reporting cadence for the Segment within ISC and provide actionable insights that will help support business leaders in informed decision-making. The jobholder is the point of contact for strategic as well as business planning matters related Business Segment. This position oversees the FP&A process for +20 manufacturing sites with an annual value of production (VOP) of around +$2B.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Review the Segment's financial forecasting and planning processes, establishing guidelines, templates, and timelines to ensure consistency and completeness.
- Use in depth business knowledge to understand business drivers, risks and opportunities so as to play a role as business partner in preparation of forecast, budgets and long-range plans.
- Innovate and standardize processes to enhance departmental productivity and forecasting accuracy through automation.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by translating insights into actionable process and guideline enhancements.
**Financial Reporting & Analysis**:
- Supervise the analysis and reporting of financial statements, explaining trends and variances to the latest forecasts / prior year for senior management.
- Coordinate the preparation of materials for global operating reviews, ensuring comprehensive and accurate financial presentations.
- Enable the team to support business decision-making by modeling key scenarios and performing sensitivity analyses.
**Strategic Business Support**:
- Support key strategic business initiatives, providing business partnering support, sophisticated analytics and project management skills.
- Evaluate and help coordinate the implementation of mitigation plans.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal clients and partners, offering insights and solutions to challenges from commercial, operational, and ground-breaking perspectives.
