Supervisor, Billing Support

**Job Purpose**:The purpose of this position is to lead a team of billing and/or contract asset specialists supporting our maintenance contracts and billing functions across our services lines of business.
This position will be responsible for ensuring all invoicing is processed on time and in agreeance with the contract details.
It will also support the business in managing the loading of new contracts and assets within Salesforce and Financial Force systems directly impacting revenue recognition.
It will liaison with sales leadership and the technical assistance center to provide technical support surrounding contract assets and the details regarding asset coverage.
***Principal Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of billing and/or contract asset specialists who set up contracts, trouble shoot and provide sales support services
- Manage and oversee invoicing in accordance with contract details (i.e.
periodic billing, asset, customer requirements, etc.)
and month end close deadlines
- Ensures maintenance contract asset setup completion to support billing processes
- Audit and ensure accurate and efficient billing invoice creation and distribution
- Provides ongoing mentoring, training and development of billing/contract asset specialists
- Analyze and provide reporting (i.e.
rev rec, revenue pipeline, etc.)
to various business units to assist in strategic planning
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions on contract analysis/asset coverage, billing discrepancies, credit memos, etc.
- Review and approve issuance of Credit Memo's
- Lead and support various projects, system enhancements/set-up and/or new business onboarding

**Working Experience**:

- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience in a professional and maintenance services environment, including leadership in leu of degree
- Possesses strong data entry skills.
**Minimum Educational/Certifications Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Language: 100% proficiency in English.
***Additional Education/Previous Experience Recommendations**:

- Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Billing experience is preferred
- 1+ years of experience directly managing / supervising employees.

**Working Conditions**:

- Professional, office environment.
- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
- Some travel required.
