We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Accounting Student to join our dynamic team. This internship opportunity offers hands-on experience in accounting processes like Mergers and Acquisitions, and exposure to various finance and accounting projects in the Corporate Accounting organization.
As an Accounting Student, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced professionals and contribute to a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Projects: Participating in modernization initiatives within the finance department, including process improvements and automation efforts.
- Transactional Tasks: Assuming responsibility for various accounting transactional tasks, such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends and discrepancies and providing insights for decision-making.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to accounting activities and projects.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively to ensure project success.
- Willingness to develop a technical career.
- Demonstrating a 'can do' attitude in a rapidly changing environment.
- Good communication skills - develops and delivers information clearly and concisely

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum qualifications**:
- Advance student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Advanced English level.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Knowledge in S4 Hana / SAP.
- Basic PowerBi.
Accounting knowledge, including US GAAP and IFRS.

**Working Model**:
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
