An important company is looking for a Storage Support Engineer with an advaced English level.

Key Skill
- Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAN and NAS administration.
- Strong knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB/CIFS).
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms from vendors like NetApp, Dell EMC PMAX/Unity/VNX/PowerScale, HPE 3par, Pure, or Hitachi.
- Proficient in backup and disaster recovery technologies and strategies.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with storage solutions.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and how it relates to storage environments.
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Role Scope
Storage Management:
1. Design, configure, deploy, and maintain SAN and NAS solutions.

2. Monitor storage performance, utilization, and capacity planning.

3. Implement and manage storage zoning, LUN provisioning, and volume management.

4. Coordinate storage arrays from vendors such as NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, IBM, or Hitachi.

5. Manage data backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and security.

Infrastructure Support:
1. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on SAN/NAS systems.

2. Troubleshoot storage-related issues, including connectivity, performance, and data integrity.

3. Provide technical support to resolve complex storage problems.

4. Collaborate with IT teams to support database, virtualization, and server environments.

5. Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for storage systems.

Performance and Optimization:
1. Monitor and optimize storage performance to ensure high availability.

2. Implement data deduplication, compression, and other storage optimization techniques.

3. Analyze and forecast storage growth to ensure appropriate capacity planning.

4. Develop strategies for data archiving, tiering, and storage automation.

Documentation and Reporting:
1. Maintain comprehensive documentation of storage configurations, processes, and procedures.

2. Generate reports on storage utilization, performance metrics, and capacity trends.

3. Prepare and present technical recommendations for storage upgrades and improvements.

Industry certifications (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator, Dell EMC Proven Professional, HPE ASE Storage Solutions Integrator).
Experience with cloud-based storage solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for storage management.
